The Taylored Mindset™ didn’t come from a textbook — it came from the hardest moments of my career. The injuries. The pressure. The expectations. The doubt. The seasons where the mental battle felt bigger than anything happening on the ice.
As a goalie, your mistakes are loud. Your emotions are visible. And when your confidence cracks, everyone feels it. I had to learn how to lead myself, stay calm when everything sped up, rebuild my confidence after bad games, and rise after setbacks that hit harder than anyone ever saw.
When I transitioned into coaching, I saw the exact same struggles in the athletes I worked with — not because they weren’t good enough, but because no one had ever taught them how to manage their mind. They were working hard, doing it all right physically, but carrying the same mental weight I once did.
So I built the framework I wish someone had handed me at 16, 20, 25 — the tools I had to learn the long way.
